Repair Process of Agilent Spectrum Analyzer N9010A
Recently, we received an Agilent Spectrum Analyzer N9010A for repair, coinciding perfectly with our maintenance event—a stroke of luck! Below, I will share the detailed repair process for this spectrum analyzer.
Fault Description
During initial testing after powering on, we noticed a significant discrepancy between the input signal and output value. Additionally, during operation, the device displayed an error message during self-check: “RF Alignment Failure, ADC OVERLOAD.”
Inspection and Repair
After a thorough inspection, we discovered that both attenuators and the microwave switch were damaged, resulting in significant deviations in the high-frequency range. Accordingly, adjustments were necessary. Our repair measures included replacing the faulty attenuator and microwave switch components, followed by adjustments and testing of the entire system.
Repair Outcome
The final repair results were satisfactory. The self-check passed successfully, signal output returned to normal, and all self-test items showed normal results, indicating that the repair was successfully completed.
